One of the budget models from the Polish manufacturer Hewalex is the flat solar collector KS2100F TP AC. It is typically used for providing hot water in family homes, heating small spaces, and warming water in pools. To reduce the cost of the model, an aluminum absorber is used, but the lower thermal conductivity of aluminum is compensated by a thickened plate. The covering material is structured glass. This type of solar collector can be purchased with an expectation of 10 or more years of use.
